Be sure to save the date for Staunton's Balloon Glow that will be taking place at Staunton's Firemen's Park on Saturday, Aug. 17, at 4 p.m.
It will be a filled evening with food vendors, kids zone, face paintings, and of course hot air balloons.
Balloon artists will be at the Glow from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., as well as four bounce houses and the MAC bus with kids’ activities will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. These kids’ attractions are all free. An ATM machine will be available, and the Chamber will earn three percent for each transaction.
FFA will cover parking, and the Staunton Band and Little League Association will be providing volunteers for the event.
Beer will be provided by Concordia, and 12 food and drink vendors will be set up. The following are the food vendors for this years Balloon Glow: Kona Ice; Shaved Ice Sticky Fingers Ice Cream; Italian Ice Cream Fruit Crushers; Fruit Drinks, Pork Kabobs, and Snow Cones
B&B Mobile Kitchen: Chicken Sandwich, Brats, Hot dogs, Fish, Onion Rings, Fries, Tamales, and Soft Tacos.
