Worden Public Library August

Our next children’s program is scheduled for Saturday, August 17, at 10:00 a.m. The featured book will be School’s First Day of School, by Adam Rex, with pictures by Christian Robinson. School is nervous about his first day on the job. He feels even worse when he overhears two older boys talking. One states, “This place stinks,” while the other replies, “I hate school.” As the day continues, school listens in on some of the classes, realizes that most of the kids are pretty nice, and even learns something about rectangles.
