Scheller

Larry T. “Shotz” Scheller, 87, of Brighton, passed away at Alton Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 22, 2024,

He was born on May 28, 1937, in White City, Ill., the son of the Late Alfred and Mary (Yaeger) Scheller. Larry married Sharon Kosowski in Mt. Olive. on June 3, 1960 and she preceded him in death on May 26,2024.

Together they raised two children, Loren Scheller, Gillespie, and Cheryl (Rick) Williams, Brighton; three grandchildren, Loren Jr. (Brianne) Scheller, Jordan (Jicky) Li, and Jeremy (Amanda) Williams; daughter-in-law, Maggie Scheller; surviving siblings, sister Marilyn “Sis” (Bob) Mengelkamp; and brother, Gerald “Arf” Scheller.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Kehnast; and brother, Estel Scheller.

Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded to Anderson Family Funeral Home of Brighton with no services scheduled.
