Dorchester Co-Rec Kittenball Tournament

The Twenty-sixth Annual Co-Rec Kittenball Tournament will take place at the Dorchester Homecoming event from Friday, Aug. 2 to Sunday, Aug. 4. Friday’s games start at 5:30 p.m. with the Kids Game (Buffalo Skins vs. Anti-Buffalo Skins). All games are free.

Friday: 6:30 p.m. – Beach Towels vs. Staunton Dogs

7:15 p.m. – Plainview Pirates vs Prestige WorldWide

8:45 p.m. – First Place Game

Saturday:1 p.m. – Buffalo Club vs. DeLaurent SweetThings

1:45 p.m. – Prestige WorldWide vs. Ball Busters

2:30 p.m. – #4 Coal Mine vs. Staunton Dogs

3:15 p.m. - Unwanted vs. White City Bandits

4 p.m. – Beach Towels vs. Game #1 Winner

5:15 p.m. – 50 Year Reunion

8:15 p.m. – 1st Place Game

Sunday:12 Noon – #4 Coal Mine vs. Unwanted

12:45 p.m. – Plainview Pirates vs. DeLaurent SweetThings

1:30 p.m. – Ball Busters vs. White City Bandits

2:15 p.m. – Beach Towels vs. Buffalo Club

3 p.m. – Prestige Worldwide vs Game #1 Winner

3:45 p.m. – Staunton Dogs vs Game #3 Winner

6 p.m. – First Place Game

Please note that on Saturday afternoon at 5:15 p.m. on the Dorchester Homecoming ballfield, a 50 year Kittenball Reunion will be held.

All 16 teams are invited and welcome to attend. That includes the following teams: Heyen’s; Staunton Hi-Robo; Area Merchants; Livingston Pies; Quality Motors; New Douglas; and all the other ten teams.

Everyone will receive a 1974 Kittenball Schedule and on the reverse side a listing of the teams, game dates, standing and winners (results). In 1974 the finals were Staunton VFW (First), Benld Tigers (Second), and Turner Hall beat Staunton Hi-Robo for Third place. It will be a great time to reminisce.

A grand fireworks display will be held on Saturday night after the Kittenball Championship Game around 9 p.m.
