Lloyd E. Schaefer, 96, of Prairietown, passed away on July 19, 2024.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene Schaefer, Prairietown; two daughters, Alicia (Todd) Kelly, Edwardsville, and Jennifer (Dean) Halusan, Prairietown; four grandchildren, Olivia Halusan, Ian and Evan Kelly, and Owen Halusan; many family members and friends also survive. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, and two sisters.

According to his wishes, a private family funeral and committal service will take place at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Prairietown on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Pastor Oliver LaMie...
