Glenda Rae Robertson, 85, of Benld, passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. She was born Aug. 18, 1938 in Staunton the daughter of the Late William and Marie (Stieglitz) Probst. She married Kenneth E. Robertson on Feb. 1, 1958 in Staunton and he preceded her in death on March 22, 2005.
She was a nurse's aide for St. Francis Hospital. Glenda enjoyed bowling and she loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two children, Terry (Debbie) Robertson, Benld, and Tina (Bob) Link, Gillespie; three grandchildren, Trista Tallman, Justin Robertson, and Tyanna (Stephen) Gregory; four great-grandchildren, Addisyn, Jaxon, Liam, and Sophia; sibling, Nancy (Donald) Kruse, Moro, Ill .; three step-grandchildren, Darick Stephens, Johnny Blankley, and Ashley (Travis) Akalan; six step-great-grandchildren, Tyler Crippon, Garrett Stephens, Kyleigh Blankley, Louis Vollentine, Ryan Vollentine, and Atreyu Akalan. Glenda was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Probst.
Private family services will be held. Kravanya Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials are suggested to Gillespie Benld Area Ambulance Service located at 208 Charles St., in Gillespie, Ill., 62033.
