Goldman

Ricky Dale Goldman, 70, of Dorchester, Ill., passed away at Gillespie Health and Rehab Center in Gillespie on Monday, July 15, 2024. He was born Aug. 27, 1953, in Aurora, Ill., the son of the Late Dale and Jean (Castner) Goldman. He married Karen S. (Graham) Goldman, of Dorchester, on Feb. 21, 1988 in Las Vegas, Nev., and she survives.

He was a truck driver and he grew up farming with his dad. Ricky collected tractors and watched racing. He was an avid gardener who enjoyed old cars, and motorcycles. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his two children, Megan Mitchell, Peachtree Corners, Ga., and Skyler (Amber) Goldman, St. Charles, Mo .; two grandchildren, Olivia Mitchell, and Adelaide Goldman; siblings, Susan Fuertges, Clermont, Fla., Cary (Trudie) Goldman, Plano, Ill., and Randy (Ursula) Goldman, Serena, Ill .; and mother-in-law, Ruth (George) Vincent, Wilsonville. Ricky was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Arthur Graham.

Funeral services were held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill. Kravanya Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
