Denny (McAfoos) Turner, 88, of Bunker Hill, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. She was born Jan. 19, 1936 in Alton, Ill., the daughter of Herbert McAfoos and Lucille (Cole) McAfoos and they preceded her in death. She married her spouse of 69 years Cecil M. Turner of Bunker Hill on March 12, 1955 in Alton and he survives.

She graduated from Alton High School in January with the class of 1955. Not only was she a wonderful wife, Denny was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Denny was a faithful believer of Jesus Christ as her lord and savior. She spent many years...
