Michael Joe Stewart, 69, of Benld, Ill., passed away at his residence in Benld on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. He was born Feb. 22, 1955 in Staunton, Ill., the son of Jack Stewart and Pauline (Montgomery) Stewart and they preceded him in death. He married Terri Tomso of Benld on Nov. 12, 2000 in Gatlinburg, Tenn., and she survives.

He worked for the railway. He was a lover of his family and friends, his music, cooking and was a man of faith.. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and St. Louis Cardinals fan.
