MCPHD Hosting Pop-Up Clinic

For those that may have a child entering the following grades, they may need required immunizations for school: Kindergarten, Sixth grade and Twelfth grade.

At the Mobile Medical Unit in the Maple Street Parking Lot located at 109 E. Maple Street, Gillespie, Ill. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

However, pre-registration is preferred but it is not mandatory. Walk-ins are definitely accepted as well.

There will be Pop-Up Immunization Clinics on the following dates as well: Monday, July 29; and Monday, Aug. 19.

When arriving to the Maple Street Clinic, there are two things that an individual is required and must bring with them in order to be tended to by the health professional: An insurance card and an up-to-date immunization record.

Each school may vary when it comes to exclusion dates and when the cut-off may be. Register now to ensure the requirements are met for the upcoming season and year of school.
