Shauna M. Whitten, (48), of Brighton, committed the Class four felony of driving on a revoked/suspended license on June 5, 2024, in that said defendant drove a 2007 Cadillac on Washington St. and Orange St. in Bunker Hill while her license was suspended/revoked. Whitten has previously been convicted on four prior occasions for driving while her license was suspended/revoked on May 21, 2013 in Jersey County; July 15, 2015 in Madison County; as well as Oct. 26, 2017 and May 15, 2024 in Macoupin County.

Alexis C. Beavers, (28), of Palmyra, committed multiple felony counts on March 20, 2024: counts one and two are Class X felonies for knowingly bringing and possessing more than 15 grams but less than 100 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine into this state from Missouri with the intent to deliver. This carries a 12-60 year sentencing range.; count three is a Class one felony for knowingly possessing more than 15 grams but less than 100 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.; count four is a Class two felony for knowingly using a 2012 Ford F-150 to help bring about methamphetamine violations.; count five is a Class four felony for the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, in that said defendant knowingly and unlawfully possessing a substance containing fentanyl.

Lawrence E. Ealey, (50), of Springfield, committed the Class four felony of being a registered sex offender and knowingly loitering on the property of Town Square Park in Virden while persons under the age of 18 were present on the grounds on June 30, 2024.

Allison M. Grothaus, (38), of Springfield, committed two felony counts on May 10, 2024: count one is a Class two felony for burglary, in that said defendant knowingly and without authority entered Ace Hardware in Carlinville with the intent to commit theft.; count two is a Class four felony for theft of displayed merchandise having a total value not in excess of $300 and for having a previous conviction, in that said defendant knowingly took possession of a DeWalt power tool accessory and having been previously convicted of using a forged credit/debit card in Sangamon County.

Austin L. Morrison, (27), of Springfield, committed two felony counts on May 10, 2024: count one is a Class two felony for burglary, in that said defendant knowingly and without authority, entered Ace Hardware in Carlinville with the intent to commit theft.; count two is a Class four felony for theft of displayed merchandise having a total value not in excess of $300 and for having a previous conviction, in that said defendant knowingly took possession of a DeWalt power tool accessory and having been previously convicted of using a forged credit/debit card in Sangamon County.

Larry E. Conlee, (40), of Mount Clare, Ill., committed two Class two felonies on July 1, 2024 being aggravated battery of a peace officer and attempting to disarm a said peace officer, in that said defendant knowingly grabbed and twisted the officer’s leg and attempted to take the officer’s Taser while the officer was engaged in the performance of his official duties.

Jessica L. Mccaw, (35), of St. Louis, Mo., committed the Class four felony of aggravated fleeing and causing damage to property in excess of $300, in that on July 3, 2024, said defendant drove a black, Dodge Charger over spike strips resulting in damaged tires while attempting to flee or elude police officers after having been given visual signal by squad car lights.

Austin T. Frank, (18), of Mt. Olive, committed a Class four felony on July 4, 2024, in that said defendant was the driver of a vehicle involved in a motor vehicle crash that resulted in personal injury to another and said defendant left the scene of the crash and failed to return to the scene to comply.

Nathan E. Morgan, (33), of Carlinville, committed two felonies on June 7, 2024: count one is a Class two felony for knowingly aiding, abetting, possessing and/or selling a stolen vehicle, in that said defendant possessed a silver, 2010 Can Am three-wheeled motorcycle.; count two is a Class three felony for theft with intent to control and having a value of more than $500 but less than $10,000, in that said defendant knowingly exerted unauthorized control over a red, 2006 Arctic Cat four-wheeler.

Joseph W. Kincaid, (35), of Bunker Hill, committed the crime of criminal trespass to a residence, in that on April 2, 2024, said defendant knowingly and without authority entered a residence located in rural Bunker Hill.

Nathan R. Bricker, (44), of Nilwood, Ill., committed the following crimes on Jan. 19, 2024: count one, said defendant, with the intent to defraud and the intent to obtain control over certain property of M&M Service Company, signed as drawer of a bank check drawn on First National Bank and delivered certain bank checks in the amount of $75.; and count two, said defendant, with the intent to defraud and the intent to obtain control over certain property of M&M Service Company, signed as drawer of a bank check drawn on First National Bank and delivered certain bank checks in the amount of $85.12.

Joshua R. Wills, (38), of Carlinville, committed the crime of criminal trespass to land on May 23, 2024, in that said defendant, after having received prior notice that such entry was forbidden by the Macoupin County Public Housing Authority, entered upon land belonging to the Macoupin Housing Authority located on Anderson St., in Carlinville.

DUI

Kayla J. Hampton, (37), of Girard, was ticketed for driving a gold, 2014 Jeep while under the influence on June 29, 2024.

Brent D. Jacobs, (47), of Carlinville, was ticketed for driving a white, 1994 GMC truck on W. 1st North St. and N. Plum St. in Carlinville while under the influence at 10:37 p.m. on June 27, 2024.

Christie L. Robinson, (67), of Carlinville, was ticketed for driving a silver, 2001 Buick on S. Broad St. and W. 1st South St. in Carlinville while under the influence at 2:07 a.m. on June 30, 2024.

Natalie Rose Kaminski, (23), of Valley Park, Mo., was ticketed for the first or second offense of driving under the influence of alcohol, in that said defendant was driving a silver, 2015 Volkswagen passenger car on Interstate 55 at 2:34 a.m. on June 28, 2024.

Gerred M. Strange, (35), of Wilsonville, was ticketed for multiple crimes committed on July 4, 2024.; count one, said defendant was ticketed for driving a silver, 2015 Chevy passenger car while under the influence on Route 138 and Dean St., in Wilsonville at 4:36 a.m.; counts two and three are for the traffic violations including improper lane usage and the failure to reduce speed to avoid the result of an accident.
