Boatman

Anette Boatman, 90, of Riverton, Ill., passed away at her residence on Thursday, July 4, 2024. She was born May 8, 1934, in Germany the daughter of Gustav Drefs. She married Kenneth Boatman on Aug. 10, 1957 in Carlinville and he preceded her in death.

She had worked for Weatherford Nursing Home in Carlinville and she had her own bakery out of her house. Anette was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and the Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her two children, Gene (Velma) Boatman, Sandia, Texas, and Linda Boatman, Riverton; four grandchildren, Nickolas (Shannon) Griffitts, Jodie Jones, Ange...
