Beerup

Kenneth M. Beerup, 73, of Bunker Hill, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. He was born July 29, 1950 in Jacksonville, Ill., the son of Audie and Imogene (Pitchford) Beerup and they preceded him in death.

He married Gala Danette (Kruemmelbein) Beerup on Jan. 14, 1969 in Carlinville, Ill. She preceded him in death on Dec. 26, 2016.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force after having served during Vietnam. He was also a retired CPA. Kenneth enjoyed traveling, reading, hunting and spending time with friends.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth "Marty" (Patricia) Beerup, Seminole, Fla .; grandchild, Bryce Ray, Seminole, Fla .; brother, Audie "Butch" (Karen) Beerup, Paragould, Ark .; and sister, Susan (Jack) Hurst, Bunker Hill, Ill. Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter, Joey Kenna.

Friends may call Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024 and Funeral services will follow at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill. Kravanya Funeral Home of Bunker Hill is in charge of the arrangements.
