To You … With Love

The Magnificent God who saved the party was the Lord's way of entering into the heart of life's reality.

He wasn't ready to declare his ministry, but the need was there, and ministry begins out of human need, so he used this as his place of beginning miracles.

And what a start it was.

It had within it all the joy and celebration of his ministry. The changing of water into wine; of making out of nothing that which is; that which changes and stimulates and brings transformation.

He is saying to us that he will create the best kind of life, the new life. We find the magnificent God showing us with ordinary water what he intends to do with us, who are so very very ordinary.

The scripture is direct that the wine is uncommon wine... so far from what had been received at the beginning, everyone was amazed.

Lord create us into new life people. Cause us to be people who can transform our society. Cause us to be people full of power and joy. And Lord, may we know the miracle of being amazed as we discover - this new wine of our spirits is the best life ever. Amen.
