PLEASE BE ADVISED ZONING MEETING HAS BEEN CHANGED TO THE
FOLLOWING DATE:
A request for an Area/Bulk Variance has been submitted to the City of Staunton Zoning Hearing Officer by Keep Calm Staunton, LLC. A Public Hearing will be held to decide whether the Zoning Ordinance should be carried to allow the applicant to Rezone the property from R1 (Single Family Residential) to R2 (Multiple Family Residential) at the following address:
401 West Olive St, Staunton, Ill.
A public hearing will be held on July 18, 2024 at 6 p.m. in the Ralph and Josephine Oltmann Community Center, Staunton, Ill., to consider this request at which time you may appear and be heard for or against said proposal. On June 14, 2024, JICTB, Inc. filed a Petition for Order of Tax Deed. The object of the plaintiff’s petition is to foreclose on the Tax Sale Certificate No. 20000266 for the delinquent taxes on real estate described above which was issued by the Macoupin County Treasurer on December 27, 2021. The taxes due under the certificate are for the 2020 tax year. The petition asks the court to direct the county clerk to issue a tax deed if the property is not redeemed from the sale on or before December 3, 2024, and that Petitioner, as grantee of tax deed be put in possession of said parcel of real estate. The Petition for Order of Tax Deed will be brought before the Macoupin County Circuit Court on December 5, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom A. If you fail to redeem, the court may enter a judgment for the relief demanded in the petition.
