John Richard Ubben,74, of Staunton, Ill., died on Sunday, June 23, 2024, with his wife, Pamela Traylor at his side. He was the adopted son of John W. Ubben and Margaret (Luker) Ubben.
John had an active life in the entertainment industry, playing and singing in numerous local bands. One of his favorite memories was when he sang the National Anthem before a Cardinal game at Busch Stadium.
He later worked for Haisler Productions, a booking agency for the St.Louis area music scene. He played a big part of managing the entertainment for the St. Louis VP Fair in 1982 and then owned his own booking...
