Ramsey

Frank Henry Ramsey, 77, of Washville, Ill., died at his residence in Washville on June 22, 2024. He was born on July 4, 1946 in Morehouse, Mo., the son to Odis Ramsey and Beulah P. (Cavins) Ramsey. He married Ginny Whitsell, and they later divorced. He married Erma (Cook) Ramsey, and she survives. Frank earned a Bachelor's degree as an Electrical Engineer and worked at Granite City Steel for 30 years. Frank enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He also liked to play Uker and Pinnacle. In his spare time he did woodworking. Frank is survived by his two daughters, Kim (Kevin) Williamson and Tina Ingram; sister, Sue (Lyle) Townsend; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of life is scheduled for a later date. Becker and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
