Staunton Shows Out In A Big Way In Honor Of Volunteer Fire Department

The Annual Staunton Volunteer Fire Department’s Homecoming Parade and Celebration was held on Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29. Everyone was encouraged to bring their little ones and their loved ones to the annual event to enjoy the live music, carnival rides and parade.

On Friday, June 28, rides started at 6 p.m. and live music started at 7 p.m., however, that came with its obstacles. One of the members of the Southside Johnny Band ran into some road and car troubles on the way to the event. One of the band members had to leave to go pick him up where he was broke down. As they rallied to their band member, the crowd appreciated their "show must go on" mentality.

a few kind words go a long

a safer place to live. A word

of thanks, a kind word on a job

well done, is always appreciated
