IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF CORA NOEL, deceased. NO. 2024 PR 51

Notice is given of the death of CORA NOEL, of Staunton, IL. Letters of Office were issued on June 20, 2024, to LAN NOEL, of 616 West Sixth St., Staunton, IL, whose attorney is THOMAS D. DENBY, of DENBY LAW, #5 Wall St., Carlinville, IL 62626. Claims against the estate may be filed in the Office of the Clerk of the Court at the Macoupin County Courthouse, Probate Division, Carlinville, Illinois, or with the representative, or both, on or before January 6, 2025, being six (6) months from the date of first publication or three (3) months from the date of mailing or delivery, whichever is later. Any claim not filed on or before that date is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the Clerk must be mailed or delivered to the representative and to the attorney within ten (10) days after it has been filed.

On June 14, 2024, JICTB, Inc. filed a Petition for Order of Tax Deed. The object of the plaintiff’s petition is to foreclose on the Tax Sale Certificate No. 20000266 for the delinquent taxes on real estate described above which was issued by the Macoupin County Treasurer on December 27, 2021. The taxes due under the certificate are for the 2020 tax year. The petition asks the court to direct the county clerk to issue a tax deed if the property is not redeemed from the sale on or before December 3, 2024, and that Petitioner, as grantee of tax deed be put in possession of said parcel of real estate. The Petition for Order of Tax Deed will be brought before the Macoupin County Circuit Court on December 5, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom A. If you fail to redeem, the court may enter a judgment for the relief demanded in the petition.

QUALIFICATIONS

The City of Staunton

CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Grant

The City of Staunton is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide grant and project managerial and administrative services to support the rehabilitation of housing units within the City of Staunton as provided in CDBG Housing Grant Application.

The agreement will be on a lump sum, fixed price basis, as provided in CDBG grant award, with payment terms to be negotiated with the selected firm.

Questions should be addressed to the City of Staunton at 618-635-2233. Responses to this RFQ should be mailed or hand delivered to the City of Staunton, City Clerk, at 101 West Pearl Street, Staunton, Illinois 62088.

Responses to this RFQ must be received no later than July 18, 2024. Please state “Proposal for Management of CDBG Grant, Housing Rehabilitation” on the front of the envelope.
