Fredrick J. Carter, (57), of Carlinville, committed multiple counts on June 18, 2024, counts one, two, and three were Class three felonies, each carrying a 2-10 year sentencing range that are non-probationable, being the unlawful possession of weapons by a felon, Said defendant, having been convicted of a prior felony, knowingly possessed a box cutter, a razor, a shovel, and a large hunting knife, with the intention to harm victims; count four is a Class four felony for aggravated assault to a peace officer, in that said defendant threatened a peace officers life with a box cutter; count five is for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, in that said defendant attempted to bludgeon a victim with a shovel; and count six is for the criminal damage to property not in excess of $500, in that said defendant knowingly damaged the property, a storage unit door at North End Mini Storage in Carlinville.

John M. Molinar, (38) of Staunton, committed multiple counts, on June 18, 2024, count one is a Class one felony not eligible for standard probation, for residential burglary, in that said defendant, without authority, entered a residence in Staunton with the intent to commit theft; Count two is a Class three felony, for theft with the intent to control, in that said defendant exerted unauthorized control of jewelry having a value of more than $500 but less than $10,000; count three is a Class four felony for criminal trespass to a Staunton residence with persons present, in that said defendant without authority entered a residence in Staunton with one or more persons present; and count four resisting the performance of a peace officer, in that he refused commands to sit, spitted while shouting, and had to be made to sit down to comply with orders.

Danielle M. Marinacci, (39), of Sorento, committed a Class one felony on June 28, 2023 for delivering more than five but less than 15 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.

Joshua N. Danis, (39), of Benld, committed the crime of resisting a peace officer on June 15, 2024, in that said defendant knowingly resisted having handcuffs put upon him and wrestled against peace officer.

Joshua W. Goins, (41) of Virden, that on June 15, 2024, committed the crime of criminal damage to property with the damage not being in excess of $500, in that said defendant knowingly damaged a window air conditioner unit belonging to another,

Lowell E. White, (34), of Farmersville, committed the crime of disorderly conduct on June 19, 2024, in that said defendant knowingly disturbed the peace of two individuals by yelling and stating people were stealing his lives. White would not leave the address, which caused a breach of peace.

DUI

Keith A. Smith, (63), of St. Louis, Mo., was ticketed for driving a gold, 2013 Cadillac passenger car on W. Main St. in Mt. Olive while under the influence at 11:48 p.m. on June 2, 2024.

Jarrett Wyble, (20), of Franklinton, La., was ticketed for the first or second offense of driving a black, 2023 Chevrolet truck, while under the influence of alcohol and for having a BAC of .08 or more on Interstate 55 near mile marker 50 at 8:05 a.m. on June 16, 2024.

Ryan M. Dawson, (21), of Wood River, was ticketed for the first or second offense of driving a white, 2005, Chevrolet truck, while under the influence of alcohol and for having a BAC of .08 or more near Mansholt Road on IL-159 at 6:19 p.m. on June 15, 2024.

Bryce J. Tooley, (21), of Mt. Olive, was ticketed for the first or second offense of driving a maroon/burgundy, 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle, while under the influence of alcohol, on N. Lake St. in Mt. Olive.
