A daughter was born to Mike and Pam Trausch of Des Plaines on June 9.

James Cerentano Jr. (68) of Staunton died June 21 at his home.

Belva D. Jacobs (84) of Staunton died June 22 at Rosewood Care Center in Alton.

Harry J. “Tuck” Odorizzi (83) of Staunton died June 25 at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton.

Joseph Thomas Spudic (86) of Mt. Olive died June 21 at the William Riley House in Munster, Ind.

Thomas Ray Mumper (67) of Lake Kaho, Mt. Olive, died June 24 at Jefferson Barracks Veterans Home in St. Louis.

Edith Criner (96) of Jerseyville, formerly of Staunton, died June 23 at Jerseyville Manor.

Meredith (Mitzi) Probst (88) of rural New Douglas died June 26 at the Hillsboro Hospital.

The Staunton Fire Department held their annual celebration on June 25, 26 and 27. A parade and fireworks were held on Sunday.

Birth: A daughter was born to Jeffrey and Pamela (Wieseman) Black on May 25.
