SCC Women's Golf League

On Thursday, June 13 the SCC women's golf league ladies enjoyed a great day golfing. Golf was in beautiful condition. Even though the weather was hot, they had a good turnout.

The low gross was the team of Karen Crosslin, Rosemarie Pickerill and Cynthia Albrecht Tipler (41). Crosslin, Pickerill and Albrecht also had a team birdie on hole number 7 and tied for low putts with the team of Martha Riley, Sue Stiegemeier and Linda Rohe. Mary Best and Linda Best had a low net of 20.

Stephanie provided us a great lunch and her mother made a strawberry dessert that really hit the spot on such a warm day.We continue to tee off at 9 a.m.

On Thursday, June 20, even though the weather was extremelly hot, all the teams had good scoring. The low net was Bev Kramer and Kathryn Young with a 39. They also had a chip-in and team birdie.

The low net was the team of Linda Best and Rohe with a 23. Barb Augustine and Pickerill had low putts (11). Stephanie prepared a nice lunch for everyone and some of the ladies stayed to swim. The weather has been extremely hot but the course is in great shape. The SCC women's golf league would like to say thanks to Allen and his crew.
