Schneck

Edward Arthur "Beano" Schneck, 66, of Sorento, Ill., passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024. H was born, on Aug. 21, 1957, in Staunton, Ill., the son to Edward Otto Schneck and Mossie (Frost) Schneck. He married Kathryn (Speed) Schneck in April 1988, in Hillsboro, Ill., and she survives.

Ed worked for many years for Jakel's Factory in Highland, Ill. He was also a self- employed farmer. He loved to take care of animals, go hunting and fishing, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. His love for his farm and family was beyond measure.

Edward is survived by his mother, Mossie Schneck; four children, Kenny (Monica) Miller, Ellisville, Ill., Michael (Amy) McCoy, Troy, Ill., Elizabeth (J.R.) Cabral, Xina, Ill., and Stephanie (Trace) Pasley, Staunton; eleven grandchildren; four sisters, Sheila (Larry) File, Sorento, Kathy (Ron) Rusick, Arizona, Sandy (Charlie) Davis, Pinckneyville, Ill., and Rita (lifelong partner Harry Senaldi) Schneck, Staunton; brother, David Schneck, Highland; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Edward was preceded in death by his father, Edward Schneck; and son, Butch Schneck.

No services will be held. Memorials may be made to the family. Litchfield Family Funeral Services of Litchfield was in charge of the arrangements.
