Betty Jean Pesavento, 94, of Staunton, passed away peacefully at her residence in Staunton on Friday, June 14, 2024. She was born on June 27, 1929, in St. Louis, Mo. the daughter to William Edward and Viola (Kemper) Looby and they preceded her in death. She married Dominick Leo Pesavento on April 2, 1948, in Chicago, Ill., and he preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 2008. She worked for many years as a waitress and, as anyone can attest, had a great sense of humor. She had a kind word for anyone that knew her.
