Ronald Hopper, 71, of Springfield, Ill., died in Springfield on Monday, June 3, 2024. He was born July 19, 1952, in Jacksonville, Ill. to Freeman Headen Hopper and Bernice Robertine Ranson and they preceded him in death.

He married Yvonne (Sorbie) Hopper of Springfield, Ill. on July 14, 1990 in Springfield and she survives. He was retired after having been a mechanic. Ronald enjoyed long distance running and fishing.
