Emily Frerichs of Mt. Olive and Larry Caldieraro of Mt. Olive were united in marriage on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Staunton. The Rev. Father Thomas Hagstrom officiated the ceremony.
The new Mrs. Caldieraro is the daughter of Kyle and Cheryl Frerichs of Litchfield. Her husband is the son of Liz Caldieraro of Staunton and the late Larry “Coach Cal” Caldieraro, Jr.
The bride selected her dress from Gowns in Springfield and her bouquet was made by her mother, Cheryl Frerichs.
For her special day, the bride chose her sister, Abby Frerichs, as her maid of honor. Other bridesmaids included her friends Jordan Godier, Amanda Nevins and Sarah Pritchard and the groom’s sisters, Sarah Caldieraro-Schulte and Rebecca Caldieraro.
Serving as flowergirl was Della Schulte, niece of the groom, and Ada Schulte, another niece of the groom was Something Blue.
The groom chose his brother, Vinnie Caldieraro as his best man. Other groomsmen included his friends, Logan Miller, Darrell Godier III, Stanley Stutz, George Kelley and Justin Bertolino.
Ushers were Taylor Anschutz and Todd Horne.
The new Mrs. Caldieraro is a 2014 graduate of Litchfield High School and a 2018 graduate of Illinois State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in special education. She is currently employed as a high school resource teacher at Litchfield High School.Her husband is a 2013 graduate of Staunton High School and a 2014 graduate of Lincoln Tech. He is currently employed as a service writer for TLG Peterbilt.
Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held at Roosters Pub. Following the ceremony, a reception for 330 guests was held at The Event Center of Montgomery County in Taylor Springs.
The couple are making their first home together in Mt. Olive.
