Court

Larry E. Conlee, (40), of Mount Claire, Ill., committed a class three felony for the possession of less than five grams of methamphetamines or a substance containing it on Nov. 5, 2023.

Todd E. La Roche, (42), of Gillespie, committed a class four felony of aggravated assault while operating a motor vehicle on May 22, 2024. Said defendant, without justification, operated a motor vehicle in a manner which placed the victim in reasonable apprehension of being struck by the moving vehicle.

Nolan G. Jaynes, (34), of Litchfield, committed the following two crimes on March 27, 2024: count one is a class three felony for attempted burglary knowingly and without authority, in that said defendant cut the metal lock of a storage unit at Staunton Public Storage located at 400 Harris St., in Staunton, Ill.; count two is for the criminal damage to the metal lock bracket, not being in excess of $500.

Zachary A. Collins, (34), of Carlinville, committed the crime of battery on May 10, 2024, in that said defendant knowingly and without legal justification, punched another individual with a closed fist.

Ethan D. Peters, (34), of Staunton, committed retail theft of displayed merchandise on May 20, 2024, in that said defendant knowingly took possession of candy items having a total value not in excess of $300 offered for sale at Circle K located at 121 S. Hibbard St., in Staunton.

Jason R. Lemons, (44), of Litchfield, committed the crime of theft with unauthorized authority on May 8, 2024, in that said defendant knowingly exerted control over another’s debit card and used to make purchases being less than $500 at Casey’s General Store in Gillespie, Ill.

DUI

Jacob R. Bockstruck, (28), of Godfrey, was ticketed for the first or second offense of driving a light blue, 2004 Dodge passenger car while under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Illinois 111 and E. Washington St. and Illinois 267 within Macoupin County on May 10, 2024 at 9:05 p.m.

Charles V. Bonds II, (31), of Mt. Olive, was ticketed for the first or second offense of driving a red, 2002 Toyota passenger car while under the influence of alcohol at W. First South St. and S. Plum St. on May 15, 2024 at 2:01 a.m.
