The SCC Thursday Ladies Golf League was back in action after missing the last two weeks due to the rain. On Thursday, May 23, the girls were ready and had some great games.
The team of Barb Augustine, Kim Meyer and Kathryn Young finished as the gross winner with a score of 37. The gross winner team also had a chip-in on hole number four and finished with two team birdies on holes four and seven.
The next high scoring team consisted of Mary Best, Gloria Paolino, Sue Stiegemeier and Cynthia Albrecht Tipler as they ended the day with a score of 39. The Team of Best, Paolino, Stiegemeier and Albrecht tied with the team of Rosemarie Pickerill, Martha Riley and Linda Rohe for low puts, being 11.
They would like to thank the maintenance crew for the astounding job in managing the grounds of the course and to Kim Meyer for providing lunch.
