Bunker Hill Library's Summer Reading Program

The registration period to join the Bunker Hill Library Summer Reading Program, which is located at 220 E. Warren St., in Bunker Hill, Ill., 62014, opens up Monday, June 3, 2024. The Summer program accepts anyone within the age of infancy and 17 years old.

The Bunker Hill Library’s regular hours of operation are listed below:

Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Sunday, Closed

Monday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Starting June 13, 2024 and ending July 18, 2024, every Thursday at 1 p.m., exciting programs will begin, such as: Mad Science; A Football Coach; Madco Whitetails; A Magician; and Foam Party.

The Bunker Hill Library Summer Reading Program will be rewarding anyone who registers by providing ample opportunities to receive some type of prize.

Prizes will be given out for the following three separate categories: Registration Prizes; Weekly Attendance Prizes; and prizes for every hour spent reading for individuals at the Summer Reading Program.

Please consider saving the date for the Bunker Hill Summer Reading Program’s registration week which will begin Monday, June 3, 2024. It’s an incredible opportunity for the youth within the community and surrounding areas.

Choosing to climb aboard the Reading Railroad and then to participate in a program that’s not only designed to bring the community together but also directly benefit an individual’s cognitive and social development.
