For Operating Engineers; JATC Will Be Accepting Apprenticeship Evaluation Test Requests

The primary purpose of the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (J.A.T.C.) and staff of the Training Department is to provide continuing education and training to Local 520 Journeypersons, Apprentices, and Referrals.

Requests must be made online at http://www.oe520.org. Candidates will be required to upload a picture of their valid Illinois driver’s license for verification of minimum eligibility requirements. Eligible candidates will be scheduled to take the test in June.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements include: Must be at least 18 years of age, Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s license, Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate, Must reside in one of these Illinois counties: Bond, Calhoun, Clinton, Fayette, Greene, Jefferson, Jersey, Macoupin, Madison, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Perry; Randolph, St. Claire, or Washington.

2024 high school graduates may submit a request for testing as long as their diploma is provided by June 8, 2024.

The dates for test requests are Monday, May 20, 2024 through Sunday, May 26, 2024, requests only accepted online at http://www.oe520.org.
