Staunton's High School Boys Track And Field Team Places First at Local Meet The SHS Boys Track and Field team won First place at the 2024 Macoupin County Track and Field Meet held on Friday, May 3, at Piasa's Southwestern High School.
Men's 100 Meters Varsity Finals:
First place, Staunton's Ethan Rantanen, 11.56;
Second place, Staunton's Trace Trettenero, 11.92;
Fifteenth place, Gillespie's Logan Bethard, 13.03;
Eighteenth place, Gillespie's Deshaunta Cooper-Jackson, 13.39.
Men's 200 Meters Varsity Finals:
First place, Staunton's Ethan Rantanen, 23.56, P.R.;
Fifth place, Staunton's Trace Trettenero, 24.60;
