Staunton Senior Citizens Meeting are held the first and third Thursday of each month, all Seniors 55 and older are welcome to join.
The May 2, 2024 meeting was called to order by President, Geri Cook at 1 p.m. There were 20 people in attendance. The Lord's Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance were then recited.
Attendance prizes went to Carolyn Strasen and Nancy Johns. Pots of silver were won by Margaret Heinemeyer and Gay Anschutes. There were many nice gifts donated by various members for ticket drawings.
The meeting was adjourned and bingo was enjoyed by all. Bingo was called by Leslie Vannoy from Cedarhurst Assisted Living and Memory Care in Bethalto.
The next meeting will be on May 16 at St. Paul's Christian Church, 225 S. Laurel St. in Staunton.
