In the Circuit Court of the Seventh Judicial Circuit, Macoupin County, Illinois, Case No. 2024 TX25, P-Tax Securities, LLC.

To: Alan Franklin, Sr; Amanda Franklin; Occupants of; Macoupin County Clerk; and all other persons/entities UNKNOWN having or claiming any right, interest or title in the following described real estate:

The East ½ of the North ½ of Lot 2 in Block 2 in Panhorst and Voge’s Addition to the City of Staunton. Situated in the County of Macoupin and the State of Illinois.

On April 1, 2024, P-Tax Securities, LLC filed a Petition for Order of Tax Deed. The object of the plaintiff’s petition is to foreclose on the Tax Sale Certificate No. 20000368 for the delinquent taxes on real estate described above for which was issued by the Macoupin County Treasurer on December 27, 2021. The taxes due under the certificate are for the 2020 tax year. The petition asks the court to direct the county clerk to issue a tax deed if the property is not redeemed from the sale on or before September 13, 2024, and the Petitioner, as grantee of tax deed be put in possession of said parcel of real estate. The Petition for Order of Tax Deed will be brought before the Macoupin County Circuit Court on September 23, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom A. If you fail to redeem, the court may enter a judgment for the relief demanded in the petition.

PUBLIC NOTICE

On May 28, 2024, in accordance with the Illinois State Board of Education's rules and regulations governing school records and with the Illinois School Student Act of 1975, South Macoupin Association for Special Education will destroy the Special Education Records of students who transferred, graduated, or withdrew from the school in 2019 or earlier. Student records affected are Mt. Olive CUSD 5, Staunton CUSD 6, and Gillespie CUSD 7. To obtain copies of records before the originals are destroyed, former students or their legal guardians may contact the SMASE Office at 618-635-8230, or visit the SMASE office at 801 North Deneen, Staunton, IL (located in the Staunton Schools Library) during school hours before May 18, 2024.

PRE-ANNEXATION

AGREEMENT

STAUNTON CITY COUNCIL

On May 28, 2024 at 6:50 p.m., a public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Staunton at the Ralph and Josephine Oltmann Community Center, 101 W Pearl St., Staunton, Ill., for the purpose of considering and hearing testimony as to ordinances authorizing the execution of pre-annexation agreements in regards to pre-annexation to the City of Staunton, Ill., the following tracts of property: 9355 Schaefer Rd. Omphghent Township 12-1-04-01-00-000-002

You are further notified that the proposed pre-annexation agreements may be changed, altered, modified, amended, or redrafted in its entirety after the public hearing.

All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard.
