Staunton Lions Egg Hunt
Staunton Lions Easter Egg Hunt follow up. The Lions Easter Egg Hunt went very well on Saturday, March 30 at Staunton Fireman's Park. Beautiful weather, a large crowd and many great volunteers were among those attending. There were at least 160 young people that turned out to hunt 3,000 Easter eggs, with the ages ranging in infancy up to 10 years old.
The Lions also handed out five large baskets to the five winning prizewinners, (one winning egg in each of the five different age categories). Each basket had a stuffed bunny rabbit, candy, toys, activities and games.
All of the hard work from the Staunton Library staff, Jayne Cioni, and Staunton Heritage Rehabilitation is appreciated for helping get the eggs ready for the hunt this year.
