Rose Marie Banjavcic, 94, of Staunton, died at Staunton Health and Rehab Center in Staunton on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. She was born June 11, 1929 in Livingston the daughter to the late Stephen Spudich Sr. and Anna (Kostadin) Spudich. She married John "Sheepy" Banjacvic on Sept. 1, 1951 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Livingston and he preceded her in death on May 6, 2017.
Rose worked at Cassens Transport, Olin Corporation, and then as a bookkeeper for Calcari Distributing and Beierman Distributing until her retirement. She was a member of Staunton VFW Ladies Auxiliary and St. Michael Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by five sisters, Barbara Spudich, Dorothy Schank, Ann Inboden, Caroline Vertovsek, and Mary Spudich; two brothers, Stephen Spudich Jr. and Thomas Spudich Sr. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation Services are from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston. Funeral Services will follow at 10:45 a.m. at Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston with Rev. Thomas Hagstrom officiating. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Livingston and Lesicko Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to either Sacred Heart Cemetery in Livingston, St. Michael Catholic Church of Staunton, or to the Staunton VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
