Notice is given of the death of WALTER LOWELL BINNEY of Staunton, Ill. Letters of Office were issued on April 2, 2024, to MARK B. BINNEY, of 19582 White City Rd., Staunton, Ill. 62088, whose attorney is THOMAS D. DENBY, of Denby Law, #5 Wall St., P.O. Box 616, Carlinville, Ill. 62636. Claims against the estate may be filed in the Office of the Clerk of the Court at the Macoupin County Courthouse, Probate of Oct. 2024, being six (6) months from the date of first publication or three (3) months from the date of mailing or delivery, whichever is later. Any claim not filed on or before that date is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the Clerk must be mailed or delivered to the representative and to the attorney within ten (10) days after it has been filed.

The object of the plaintiff’s petition is to foreclose on the Tax Sale Certificate No. 20000045 for the delinquent taxes on real estate described above for which was issued by the Macoupin County Treasurer on December 27, 2021. The taxes due under the certificate are for the 2020 tax year. The petition asks the court to direct the county clerk to issue a tax deed if the property is not redeemed from the sale on or before September 13, 2024, and the Petitioner, as grantee of tax deed be put in possession of said parcel of real estate. The Petition for Order of Tax Deed will be brought before the Macoupin County Circuit Court on September 23, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom A.
