The Macoupin County Cannonball Jail is now open daily from 9:00-4:00 during tourism season (April – October). We all know there are thousands of visitors traveling through Macoupin County each year on Route 66. It is estimated there will be hundreds of thousands who will be cruising 66 the next couple of years to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the world famous “Mother Road.”

Let us help you tap into some of that tourism money. We are assembling a Restaurant Guide which will be on display at the Cannonball Jail Tourism Center. We would like all the restaurants, bakeries, c...
