On Thursday, April 18, the City of Staunton was hit with a sweltering combination of hot and cold fronts that intensified to the point where Macoupin County, specifically the Staunton and Prairietown areas sounded the alarms signaling a tornado watch.
After being advised to take shelter, seemingly, the worst of the storm had already passed. What did remain behind though were some of these chunks of hail that signaled the aftermath of a classic Spring season storm....
