Taylor A. Young, (28), of Litchfield, on April 5, 2024 said defendant committed a Class X felony, the offense of Home Invasion and causing injury, in that said defendant, knowingly and without authority entered a dwelling. In having reason to know a victim to be present within that dwelling place, Young intentionally grabbed the victim and threw the victim to the ground causing injury to their ear.

Cameron T. Bartram, (26), of Medora, on April 6, 2024, committed a Class three felony being the offense of aggravated battery, knowing made contact of an insulting or provoking nature towards a person that the defendant knew to be pregnant. The defendant grabbed the victim and took the victim to the ground.

Joseph W. Kincaid, (35), of Bunker Hill, on March 13, 2024, committed a Class four felony, being theft, in that said defendant knowingly obtained unauthorized control over a Fender guitar. Said defendant has been previously convicted of theft in Macoupin County.

Angela C. Wiser, (43), of Virden, on Feb. 7, 2024, committed a Class three felony being the possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine or substance containing methamphetamines.

Danisha C. Friarson, (25), of St. Louis, Mo., on March 15, 2024, committed a Class three felony of retail theft, being a desktop computer having a total value in excess of $300.

Mellanie J. Fustafson, (27), of Girard, on Dec. 9, 2023 committed a Class four felony being the unlawful possession of a controlled substance containing cocaine.

Casey W. Hammon, (35), of Mt. Olive, committed two counts of Class two felonies for the unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, once on May 24, 2022 and again on June 22, 2022. Said defendant knowingly delivered less than one gram of amphetamine, a controlled substance.

Joshua M. Williams, (22) of Springfield, on Nov. 5, 2023, committed a Class four felony being the unlawful possession of a controlled substance containing Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA).

Justin C. Grider, (41), of Carlinville, on Feb. 7, 2024, committed a Class three felony being the possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine or a substance containing methamphetamine.

Roger L. Large, (64), of Staunton, on April 8, 2024, committed a Class four felony of resisting the performance of a peace officer, being the arrest of said defendant. The defendant struggled with the known peace officer and attempted to stop said officer from placing the defendant in the back of a squad car. In the process, said defendant kneed the peace officer in the groin causing pain.

Timothy J. Garrison, (27), of Raymond, on April 10, 2024, committed a Class two felony and three Class four felonies. The Class two felony is for aiding and abetting of a stolen vehicle, in that said defendant a person no entitled to possession of said vehicle, possessed a maroon, 2001 Buick Sedan and knew it to have been stolen; the Class four felonies consist of aggravated assault while operating a motor vehicle, criminal damage of government property, and aggravated fleeing, in that said defendant committed assault and without justification operated a motor vehicle in a manner that struck the victim with the moving motor vehicle. The defendant knowingly attempted to damage a Macoupin County Sheriff Department squad vehicle by intentionally striking said squad vehicle. Said defendant drove the mentioned vehicle and having been given visual signal by a Deputy of the Macoupin County Sheriff’s Department in the form of squad car lights, Garrison attempted to flee and elude the Deputy causing property damage in excess to $300.

Carl E. Emery, (67), of Carlinville, on April 6, 2024, committed the crime of violating an order of protection, in that defendant knowingly committed an act prohibited by an Emergency Order of Protection in Macoupin County. After having been served with notice of said Emergency Order of Protection, said defendant went to the protected location in Macoupin County without permission.

Jamie L. Whitford, (49), of Alton, on April 6, 2024, committed two counts of violating an order of protection, defendant knowingly committed an act prohibited by an order of protection in Madison County and after having been served property in Alton, said defendant entered the property of victim, parked his vehicle and hid in the timber near the home of the petitioner when he was found by law enforcement.

Jamie L. Nash, (35), of Highland, on April 8, 2024, committed the offense of battery, in that said defendant knowingly and without legal justification made physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature with victim, being that Nash grabbed the back of the victim's neck.

Samuel G. Boyd, (43), of Bunker Hill, on Feb. 27, 2024, committed the offense of criminal damage to property being the attempt to damage the property of another, being an exterior residential door. Said defendant painted said residential door with foul language where the damage having a value not being in excess of $500.

Josh A. Zumwalt, (21), of Girard, on Feb. 8, 2024, committed the offense of battery, in that he struck the victim with his fists.

Zackarie A. McDuffee, (29), from Auburn, on Feb. 14, 2024, committed the offense of bad checks by obtaining control of property. Said defendant, with the intent to defraud and the intent to obtain control over certain property of Hendricks Home Furnishings, knowingly delivered certain bank checks to Hendricks Home Furnishings and drawn on Woodforest National Bank made payable to Hendricks Home Furnishings in the amount of $2,143.93 and signed as drawer, knowing said check would not be paid by the depository.

Nicholas A. Williams, (31), of Staunton, on March 30, 2024, committed criminal damage to property, in that said defendant knowingly attempted to damage laundry mat tables without permission. Said defendant wrote on said tables with a permanent marker where the damage having a value not in excess of $500. The defendant also committed the crime of criminal trespass of a building, in that said defendant knowingly and without lawful authority entered the laundormat located at 129 N Laurel St, Staunton, after being previously barred from entry.

Kathleen A. Parish (21), of Staunton, committed criminal damage to property being laundry mat tables, in that said defendant wrote on said tables with a permanent marker where the total value of the damage was not in excess of $500 on March 30, 2024.

Brody A. Ziegler, (20), of Gillespie, committed a Class 4 felony on April 12, 2024. Said defendant committed the offense of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, being a substance containing fentanyl. Also, Ziegler committed the offense of illegal possession of ammunition, in that said defendant possessed firearm ammunition, being .308 Winchester ammunition, while not having a valid FOID Card previously issued in his name.

Brandon L. Golbricht, (30), of Carlinville, committed five counts of offenses on April 13, 2024: Three Class X Felonies for: home invasion with a dangerous weapon, and aggravated kidnapping where said defendant knowingly and without authority entered the dwelling of victim one while having reason to know individuals to be present within the residence and armed with a metal rod. The defendant swung it at victim one, then the defendant grabbed a second victim by the hair, then removing them with the intent to secretly confine victim two, the said defendant knowingly and by force removed victim two from the dwelling of victim one, Golbricht knowingly confined the second victim within another residence against their will with threat and or force. The Class three felony of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, said defendant knowingly possessed a Sears and Roebuck JC Higgins 538 .22 Caliber shotgun.

Raymond E. Jones, (56), of Carlinville, committed a Class two felony on April 2,2024, being the violatation of a sex offender's registration. Said defendant, a sex offender, knowingly failed to register in accordance with the provisions of the Child Sex Offender Registration Act in that he lacked a fixed place of residency and did not register weekly between March 15, 2024 and April 2, 2024, while previously having been convicted in 2018.

Tara D. Williams, (30), of Staunton, on April 5, 2024, committed the offense of criminal trespass to a vehicle, in that said defendant knowingly and without authority entered into a motor vehicle of another.

Matthew T. Mitchelar, (36), of Staunton, on April 7, 2024, committed the offense of possessing drug paraphernalia, being a glass pipe used with the intent to inhale methamphetamine.

DUI

Justin C. Grider, (41), of Carlinville, was ticketed for driving a black, 2006 Chevrolet while under the influence on Cambridge and Sixth St. in Girard on Feb. 7, 2024, at 10:40 p.m.

Roger L. Large, (64), of Staunton, was ticketed for driving a black, 2003 Jeep while under the influence on April 8, 2024 at 8:23 p.m.

Benjamin Sc. Burgett, (21), of Glen Carbon, was ticketed for driving a brown, 2006 Ford truck on Washington St. in Bunker Hill, while under the influence of alcohol on April 13, 2024 at 12:24 a.m.
