Notice is hereby given to the legal voters, residents of the Township of Staunton in the County of Macoupin and State of Illinois, that the Annual Town Meeting of said Township will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, as required by 60 ILCS 1/30-10 at the hour of 6 o’clock P.M. at Staunton Township Building, 20459 Staunton Road, Staunton, Illinois, for the transaction of the miscellaneous business of the said Township; and after a Moderator having been elected, will proceed to hear and consider reports of officers, and decide on such measures as may, in pursuance of law, come before the meeting and especially to consider and decide the following: Minutes of the 2023 Annual Town Meeting, Supervisor’s Annual Financial Report, Meeting day and time for Monthly Township Meeting, and Financial Institutions for banking purposes.

STAUNTON CUSD NO. 6 BIDS FOR FRANKLIN BRAND COMMERCIAL GRADE STOVE

Staunton CUSD #6 is accepting bids on a used four burner Franklin Brand Commercial Grade Stove that has been declared surplus. The following are the specifications for the stove: Brand - Franklin; Condition - Fair. All interested bidders, should send a sealed bid for the stove to the Staunton CUSD #6 District Office located at 801 North Deneen Street, Staunton, Ill. 62088. Bids should be delivered to the following address by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April, 10, 2024 as follows:

Stove Bid, Atten: Brett Allen, Staunton CUSD #6, 801 North Deneen Street, Staunton, Ill. 62088.

After a careful review of each bid, school district officials will determine the successful bidder and notify all bidders of the officials’ final decision. The successful bidder will be notified on the 16th of April, 2024 and arrangements for the sale and pick-up of the stove will be made at that time.

All sales are as is and final, and payment must be made with cash, a certified check or bank draft. No personal checks will be accepted.

Furthermore, the purchaser is responsible for providing payment and physically removing the stove from the school district property by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024. Additionally, the Staunton CUSD #6 reserves the right to reject all bids.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF A TRUSTEE NOTICE

Olive Township will be accepting applications for the appointment of a Trustee to serve on the Olive Fire Protection District Board. The applicant selected will serve on the Olive Fire District Board for a three year term, beginning in May 2024. Olive Township will select an applicant at their April 17, 2024 meeting. Applicants must be: 1) a resident o f Olive Fire Protection District, and 2) a registered voter. Applicants interested in running for the Olive Fire Protection District Board should submit a letter stating his/her interest and mail it to : Olive Township, atten: Dave Lamore, Olive Township Clerk. ADVERTISEMENT OF SALE NOTICE

A public sale of storage unit contents will be held on the 30th day of March 2024 at 9:00 AM located at 400 Harris, Staunton, IL.

The contents are located at 400 Harris, Staunton, IL in Unit #41 under the name of Amanda Deininger, Unit #D2 under the name of Melissa Fernandez, and Units #R1 & #F3 under the name of Amber Foster.

The sale shall be held in an auction style format with all items being sold as one lot. All items must be removed from storage unit on day of sale.
