Staunton girls soccer defeats Maryville Christian

Staunton starts off right with win over Maryville Christian

The Staunton Bulldogs had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand Maryville Christian a 8-0 shutout on Monday, March 11.

No. 1 Jillian Meyer (So.), finished as Player of the Game where she posted 4 total shots, 3 of them were not only on goal (SOG), but they found their way in the goal as well, as she finished with a Hat-Trick in the shutout against Maryville Christian.
