On Wednesday, March 6, 2023, the Eighth Grade Staunton Lady Terriers became 3A Regional 16 Champions again this year. They beat the Greenville Blue Jays in two sets to clinch the championship. This brings their record to 23 wins and 1 loss. The 8th grade Terriers played at Sectionals on Monday, March 11 at and against Meridian Macon.
