PUBLIC NOTICE:

Request for Proposal (RFP) to

Provide Food Service Management Company Services

Notice is hereby given that Staunton Community Unit School District No.6 (“the School Food Authority-SFA”); is requesting proposals to provide Food Service Management Company Services for the operation in the Federally funded School Nutrition Programs.

Proposals will be accepted 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Proposals must be submitted in full as outlined in the solicitation.

A meeting to tour the facilities will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, at Staunton CUSD #6, 801 N. Deneen Street, Staunton, IL 62088. Attendance at this meeting is required.

Beginning Feb. 14, 2024, RFP specifications will be available. Contact Steve Moore, Educational Services Administrator, at [email protected].

Questions related to the solicitation may be submitted, in writing, via email to [email protected] by March 11, 2024 at 10 a.m. Questions will be answered via email in the form of an addendum to all potential proposers.

Proposers must be fully aware and comply with USDA and state regulations regarding School Nutrition Programs.

The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts thereof, waive any irregularities or informalities.

All vendors must comply with applicable Illinois law requiring payment of prevailing wage by contractors working on public funded projects, and with Illinois statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws.
