The 7th Grade Lady Terriers traveled to Carlinville Saturday morning for the Carlinville Invitational Tournament. For their first game, they faced Southwestern, , winning the first set 25-8, and losing the second set 23-25. Their second game was against Bethalto, and was also a split game, losing the first match 18-25, and winning the second match 25-18. Their third game of the pool play was against Edwardsville Liberty, and once again, a split game: they won the first match 25-17, and lost the second match 15-25. The final game of the day had the Lady Terriers playing for third place against Carlinville. The girls put on their game faces and were able to defeat Carlinville in both matches, 15-25, and 18-25. The Staunton Junior High Lady Terriers ended the day with a third place finish. You can catch the girls playing this week in Mt. Olive on Monday, and at home Tuesday (vsSouthwestern), and Thursday (vs. Bunker Hill).
