Stahl

Terry Edward Stahl, 73, of Bunker Hill, died at his residence on Jan. 21, 2024. He was born Nov. 17, 1950, in Nimens, Ark. to Houston Stahl and Helen Faye (Gatis) Simmons.

He was a truck driver. He built and sponsored Stock Cards and Godfrey Speedway. He was an avid racing fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Tanya Mobley of Bunker Hill; step-child, Jody Foster; grandchildren, Zachary Lawrence, Haley Mobley, and McKenzie Giebner; great-grandchildren, Taelyn Mobley, Karmen Lawrence, and Bri Lawrence; siblings, Don (Cathy) Stahl of Bunker Hill and Steve (Vickie) Simmons of Bethalto; and longtime close family friend, Robbie Lewis.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Faye Simmons; children, Lynette Lawrence and Jason Stahl; grandchild, David Lawrence; and sister, Barbara Hert.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Kravanya Funeral Home of Bunker Hill is in charge of the arrangements.
