Morrison

Gary Dean “Harvey” Morrison, 77, of Bunker Hill, passed away Jan. 13, 2024. He was born April 27, 1946 in Alton to the late Harry and Vera (Friedline) Morrison.

He attended Bunker Hill High School graduating with the class 1964. He worked and retired from Olin Brass after 41 years. Following his retirement, he enjoyed working seasonally as a tender truck driver for CHS. He enjoyed watching sports, auto racing, and meeting for coffee with his friends everyday. He loved spending time with his family, and especially loved spending time with his grandson, Otto.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Roy Wieseman and mother-in-law Becky Wieseman.

Gary is survived by his wife, Monica (Wieseman) Morrison; son, Max (Hannah) Morrison; daughter, Caleigh (Nathaniel) Stolte; grandson, Otto Stolte; sister, Linda Burch; sister-in-law, Nancy Purdun; a great-niece and great-nephews.

Visitation was held Jan. 19, 2024 and Jan. 20, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church in Bunker Hill. Interment followed and Kravanya Funeral Home of Bunker Hill was in charge of the arrangements.
