Jines

William Joseph Jines, 92, of Gillespie, died at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. on Jan. 19, 2024. He was born Aug. 12, 1931, in Sikeston, Mo.

He was a retired after having worked in the aircraft parts procurement for the U.S. Government. He was a veteran of the US Navy after having served during Korea.

He is survived by his niece, Deborah Dial of Austin, Texas; great nephews, Thomas Alpi of Gillespie and Michael Dial of Austin, Texas; great-great-nieces and nephews, Michael Dial II, Megan Dial, and Bryce Alpi. William was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Pauline Crouse; siste...
