Court
Ricky M. Starr (43) of Gillespie, is charged with two Counts of a Class four Felony with Count one being aggravated domestic battery in that he knowingly caused great bodily harm to his girlfriend, in that he struck her in the face with his fist; and Count two being domestic battery/bodily harm with said defendant having being previously convicted of domestic battery in Macoupin County.
Lee C. Watson (45) of Standard City, has been charged with six counts of Class two Felony with Count one being aggravated battery of a peace officer, when he knowingly made physical contact with a Carlinville Police Officer in that he spit on the officer striking him on the arm, while knowing he is a peace officer engaged in the execution of official duties. Count two being criminal trespass to residence in that he knowingly and without authority remained within a residence in Carlinville and had reason to know that one or more persons were present. Count three is resisting a peace officer when the defendant knowingly obstructed the performance of a peace officer of an authorized act within his official capacity, in that he disobeyed lawful commands from the officer when he was attempting to further an investigation. Count four is resisting a peace officer in that said defendant knowingly resisted the performance of a Macoupin County Corrections Officer of an authorized act within his official capacity, in that he struggled against law enforcement officers when they were attempting to place the defendant into a jail cell. Count five is for Battery, when said defendant knowingly and without legal justification made physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature with the occupant of the residence after that occupant told him to leave the residence. Count six is criminal trespass to land, in that the defendant entered upon the land of another, located in Carlinville, after having received prior notice from law enforcement that such entry was forbidden.
James D. White (38) of Girard, in charged with obstructing a peace officer, in that said defendant knowingly obstructed the performance of an officer of an authorized act within his official capacity, being the detention and investigation into the physical and mental state of K.H., knowing the officer was engaged in the execution of his official duties, in that he refused to follow commands from the officer.
DUI
Jessie Andrew Pyatt (36) of St Louis. Mo. was cited for two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and for a BAC of .08, while driving a 2010 Ford Passenger Car, on Dec. 28, 2023, at 8:46 p.m. at Washington and Warren in Carlinville.
Christina K. Giles (42) of Mount Olive was cited for DUI-Alcohol first or second offense, while driving a 2011 Buick Passenger Car on Dec. 20, 2023 at 1:28 p.m. at 20740 Honey Creek Rd in Honey Point Township.
