Ruth M. Pinkerton, 100, of Litchfield, died at Litchfield Health and Rehab Center in Litchfield on Jan. 6, 2024. She was born Aug. 31, 1923, in Mena, Ark. daughter to the late Alvin Beckwith and Mary Voerster Beckwith. She married Marion Pinkerton in 1944 in Vallejo, Calif and he preceded her in death in 1978.
She was an assembler and painter for Duracraft where she retired in 1986. Ruth was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Litchfield. She was an avid reader who enjoyed gardening, shopping and being with her family.
Ruth was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Pinkerton; two sisters, Marie and Hellen Henderson.
She is survived by her children, Harry (Karen) Pinkerton of Litchfield, Jeffrey (Viola) Pinkerton of Wood River, Peggy (Kevin) Kuethe of Staunton, and Daniel (Carol) Pinkerton of Staunton; grandchildren, Scott Pinkerton, Adriane Calladine, Jennifer Mills, Kimberly Pinkerton, Andrew Pinkerton, Kendra Sigafoos, and Daniel Pinkerton; great-grandchildren, Eric and Baeley Pinkerton, Billy and Alex Calladine, Alexis and Logan Brown, Jack, Kendall, Sophia and Sam Sigafoos; great-great-grandson, Jasper Pinkerton.
Friends may call on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 10 a.m.until 11 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 am at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill and interment will be at Bunker Hill Cemetery. Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill is in charge of the arrangements.
