Felchner

Florence Rose Felchner, 102, of Staunton, died at Staunton Health and Rehab Center in Staunton on Jan. 6, 2024. She was born March 4, 1921 in Sawyerville to the late Marko Balen and Anna Perkovich. She married Chargles C. Felchner on Aug. 31, 1944 iun Sawyerville and he preceded her in death in 2007.

She worked as a private secretary for several large companies in St. Louis, MO. She also worked as a secretary/receptionist for Dr. Dean Raft in Staunton for 20-years. She was a member at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Staunton and the Croatian Lodge.

There are no services scheduled and a private internment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton at a later date. Memorials are suggested to either St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Staunton, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospita, Shriner’s Hostpial for Children of St. Louis, Mo., or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton is in charge of the arrangements.
